Condolences to the Family of Roman Ranocha

2016

I was very sorry to hear of this news; Roman was one always quick with a smile whenever I had the opportunity to spend time with him - either in a work setting or out for some fun! I and my family will continue to say prayers for his family and friends - such a loss ... we need more Romans in the world! Chris

Dear Jackie, Emma, Libby and Mila, We send our deepest sympathies to all of you. Sayle of course noted, "He was my coach -- and he is the coach who taught me how to juggle!" We all fondly remember our time together, and Roman's patient yet competitive coaching style on the Hingham playing fields. He was a great example for fathers and coaches, and he will be sorely missed by all. Our hearts go out to all of you. Love, The Evarts

In the dozens of times that I played Roman or watched him play at the Boston Table Tennis Center, I didn't hear him make an excuse for losing a match or a point. What a man...

So sad to hear about Roman's passing. I played soccer with him for the last few years, and found him to be a true gentleman on and off the field. When we weren't talking about soccer, we'd talk about being the fathers of daughters, and Roman always impressed me with how deeply he loved his family, and how very, very proud he was of his girls. My deepest condolences to Roman's family; he was truly, a lovely person.

I am so very sorry for your loss, and I am deeply saddened by the sudden nature of it. Roman was quite proud of his family and spoke highly of the girls' accomplishments during our Sunday morning soccer games. I enjoyed his quick wit and talent on the soccer field. He was a fantastic player! I know we will all miss his presence. Peace to all of you as you adjust to your loss. Kindly, Linda Francis, soccer friend

I can't really express how sorry I am about the loss of Roman. I am his former high school classmate and I saw him only on few occassions during last 20 years, but he was one of the nicest and kindest people I know. I still cannot believe we lost Roman. My deepest condolences to Roman's family.

I am shocked and saddened by the loss. I have known Roman for many years through table tennis, have given Roman table tennis lessons through out the years. Roman was a fine student, always gave his best on and off the table. Will be in my thoughts and prayers.

So sad. I met Roman about 15 years ago and remember in our very first meeting learning about his passion for ping pong! And every meeting since, including the last one just this May in Boston, was filled with Roman's intelligence, quickness and respect for others. I will miss that.

Wanted to offer my sincerest condolences to Roman's family, friends, colleagues and anyone who had the good fortune of knowing and coming into contact with him. Roman was one of my clients for the last 14 years - and I always looked forward seeing him and his colleagues in his office and at our events. He had great wit, was super smart, always had a smile on his face, and I always enjoyed our interactions. What distinguished Roman was he always spoke about his family - his wife and 3 girls - and I know how important that was in his life. It permeated all of our discussions. Wanted to let you know how much we will miss him, and forever will keep him in our thoughts and prayers.

The words can't describe how sorry I am for your unexpected lost. I'm Roman's high school classmate and I was fortunate to re-connect with Roman after 20+years just this January, during his visit to Dallas. I've learnt instantly that Roman loved his life, he adored his wonderful wife and daughters , was passionate about playing table tennis and had a soft spot in his heart for dogs. His kind heart will not be forgotten. My deepest condolences to the entire Ranocha family.

Jackie, Emma, Libby & Mila - I am so very sorry to learn of your loss. I had the good fortune of calling Roman one of my friends here in Hingham but he was also a client for over 15 years. That photograph perfectly portrays Roman - he was always smiling. As quick to offer his help or assistance as he was with a witty remark. Kids -- What I will remember most is how proud he was of each one your accomplishments ... on the volleyball court, in the Continental Math League, or your love for reading. Anywhere you were -- school functions or athletic fields -- he was there. He was 100% dedicated to you and your success. Your father was a very special man -- I will miss his laughter and positive energy. - Jeff The Donnelly's (Jeff, Dana, Delaney, Genevra & Carter)

I'm stunned in disbelief about Roman's passing. He was a picture of health, athletic and full of energy. He was an exceptional human being: intelligent, good-natured, had a great sense of humor, was respectful and friendly to everyone. In 7+ years I knew Roman, we played numerous table tennis matches at Boston table tennis club. On Sundays we always played doubles together and he was my favorite doubles partner. We used to laugh and joke with our opponents and had a great time. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Roman's wife, daughters, relatives and closest friends. I cant even begin to imagine what they are going through. Roman will be greatly missed by me and all of our table tennis community. RIP Roman.

I know we've never met but I wanted to let you know what a wonderful person Roman was and I'm so sorry for your loss. Roman was a client of mine for more than 15 years and I had the opportunity to visit with him every year during my visit to Boston. I know he had a passion for ice cream (which we often ate during our meetings) but he always had a smile and was such a warm and caring person. I hope you know that we will all miss him very much. Respectfully, Steve Sakwa

Heart broken for Roman and his beautiful family! Words can never express the sorrow. Don't have answers why God took him so early. But I'm assured that Roman's in safe hands and so do his family that he left behind. You will always be remembered Roman for the kindness and nobleness and your humility. I will always remember Roman for his kindness and humility. He also displayed fierce competitive spirit and passion for ping pong. May God bless his family and provide solace to all the ones he left behind. Rajesh Kulandesu

A beacon of light, beautiful inside and out, Roman, more than a friend, was like a big brother to me. Always with an infectious smile and laugh, he brought an enthusiasm for life that touched so many. Even at this most trying time, I am heartened by the fact that I have so many wonderful moments with Roman etched in my mind, and those memories will be with me forever and a day.

On behalf of my teammates on the Under Construction Football Club and all of the players in the Men's Over 40 league I want to offer my deepest condolences to Roman's family. We always had great, competitive matches with Roman and his passion for soccer was only matched by his good nature and positive spirit when the games were over. He will be deeply missed.

My sincere condolences. This came as a total shock to me because Roman kept himself in such good shape. I had many great table tennis matches with Roman and enjoyed his fiery competitiveness on the table and his amiable, friendly nature off the table. He will be greatly missed.
