Judy FarrenWow, scrolling through Facebook and I see a dear face from the past pop up. Peepin'!! I was devastated to hear the news even though I haven't seen him in 30 years. I dated one of his good friends for many years back when I was in high school and college and spent many days and nights with Tom. I can still clearly see his old truck with the toilet paper roll hanging from it. I can hear him singing The Doors songs around the fire at Pond Meadows and telling the funniest stories and making us all laugh. I can hear that voice so clearly. I loved how he loved the outdoors and nature and he was do down to earth. He was always a favorite friend of mine from that gang of kids I hung out with and he left such a lasting impression. I am so very, very sorry to hear this news. My heart goes out to his wife and children whom I did not know. So very sorry for your loss. And my deepest sympathy to his brother Paul (who gave me my first job at Burger King) and to his sister Donna and her husband Dickie and all the rest of his family and friends. The world lost someone special. Hugs to all. Much love and sympathy, Donna (Files) Doherty
