Mrs Giachetti, Mike, Vinny and all the family. So saddened to hear about Lou. Truly a great person who loved and was proud of his family. Am certainly going to miss him coming into the store every spring to get parts for his latest hot rod project. You knew when spring was here when lou would come in needing some oddball part for some creation that he was putting together. rest in peace my friend, you were special E.B.Ladd

Mark metivierMy deepest condolences and so sad to learn of Lou's passing. A unique individual, always a joy to be with, who brightened every moment, he will be sorely missed. Generous, kind, thoughtful, sincere, ever perceptive and possessing a keen sense of humor, I will always hold dear and be ever grateful for the time he devoted to me as a young man growing up. Sincerely, Rich Giacchetti
Rich GiacchettiDear Barbara, I am so sorry to learn of Lou's death. I wish the weather was better and I could come up from Plymouth to pay my respects. Lou was such a faithful presence at the early Mass on Sunday and a help to me in identifying the year by the cars on the street on some old photos of St. Paul's when we were writing the history of the parish. May God give Lou a great welcome into Eternal Life. He and you and your family will be in my prayers and Masses. Fr. Rafferty
Fr. James RaffertyYoda of Paradise My last encounter with Louie, Barb and I were about to take a night ride on the golf cart to tour the Park.Louie decided to stay home and rest. Upon return I was telling Louie about my last visit with my only grandchild Zoe in Virginia. I was saying how young Zoe (20 mo) seemed to prefer Papa Bill and was not very affectionate with me. Well Louie shared one of his many stories with me, about his encounter with a young neighborhood boy. The boy was young and possibly autistic and during visits to Louie's home would ignore Louie. Well, Louie patiently remained seated and very still .Eventually the little guy started playing with a toy at Louie's feet. At that point he engaged the child in discussion about the toy (probably a car). Over time they became close and shared many experiences, some memorable sledding ventures. This was typical Louie . If you had a life dilemma big or small Louie always had a story and some words of encouragement to shed some light. That was why Louie was loved by those who knew him , he was a soft place to share,,,,he always had an encouraging word. He was a rare pure, gentle soul!! Louie was loved , he will be missed here at Paradise Bay. Love, Diane Cunningham
