Condolences to the Family of Mark X. Fallon

2015

As I'm sure you have heard from many people, Mark was a great person to work for and with. I remember when he first came to work for Fleet in Malden, just over 18 years ago. He stood by his people and had a good sense of humor. It was an honor to know him and work with him for a number of years. My sincere sympathy to your family.

Mark was my colleague and teammate during my time at Bank of America. I was fortunate to have Mark in my team when I managed Transaction Services MA operations. Mark was a knowledgeable and thoughtful individual. He always did the right thing for the business and the people. He was willing to learn and embrace new ideas. He helped me learn the business and more importantly he would share his deep affection for his family. He will often talk about his children and was a proud father and husband. He was always optimistic and when I had serious illness, he was always there to encourage me. I will miss him as a friend...gone too soon but my memory of him will always be an inspiration for years to come. RIP Mark.

My sincerest sympathy to Mark's loved ones. I will miss my old friend. I have respected Mark since we were kids together. To earn a spot on his basketball team was an honor. Mark had a style and grace on the court that was something to see. He was one of my first contemporaries to demonstrate what real dedication and sportsmanship looks like. And in a time when kids were often dismissive of differences Mark said, "Different strokes for different folks." I wonder if anyone reading this remembers Mark's impersonation of the great Louis Armstrong singing? Lots of hysterical stuff came out of Mark . . . and all of us really when we were shooting hoops together at "L" Street. Thank you, old friend.
