Mrs. Katherine McCourt, I was so sorry to hear of Richards' death. I saw Richard many years ago at a youth basketball game. Our sons were on opposing teams and Richard was the coach of his son's team. We spoke before the game about each other's families, etc. Often when I am with my brothers and sister, my parents' friends come up. The McCourts, Neylons, Lovois, etc are all such quality people. Reading Richard's obituary brought back memories of the great times spent at Orient Heights Beach, aka McCourts' beach and the New Hampshire cottage. I have the utmost respect for you and your husband for the wonderful job you did in raising a great family. Please give my sympathies and best regards to all of them. Fondly, Bob O'Leary

Ginger, Trevor, Ryan and Matt, I wanted to say that I'm so sorry for your loss of such an amazing person. I loved Richie like a father when I was a kid. And growing up around him, I felt that he really was a second father to me. I have so many incredible memories of me and Trev, and the whole McCourt family, all being together. From the time When you all took me skiing at Loon, and Richie kept calling me a "loon" because I had no poles and skied with my arms straight out, to the many days and nights at your house. Richie's generosity was unmatched. He was such an amazing person. A larger than life character with an infectious, caring and warm personality. I truly feel grateful and privileged for having known him. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss and my deepest condolences to the entire family. -Adam

Dear Ginger, Ryan and family, I am truly saddened by the news of Riichie's passing. I always enjoyed our relationship at BC both during our years on the Heights and visits with him and you all at the tailgate parties. He was a good Christian and an outstanding person.
