Ms. Janice will be truly missed. She always had a smile when you met her. Praying for her family that God will send comfort at this time of loss.

Janice will always be remembered as a kind, gentle, soft spoken woman who always stood by what she believed to be the fair and just thing for Native People. I had the privledge of working with her on various projects and always looked forward to our dinner conversations when the work day was done. Blessing and prayers for the family and loved ones that she has left behind.

The people of Oklahoma send their condolences to the family of Janice Falcone. I’ve known Janice for many many years while working in JTPA/WIA programs. When I first started, she and a few others took me under their wing. They told me, this job is unique, we are here to help guide our people for a better tomorrow. She said, our people need to be heard, and we are there voice. I can remember sitting alongside her many times in Washington, D.C., fighting for equality for Indian People. Indian Country lost a soft spoken woman, who lead with strength and dignity. We are forever grateful for the path you made for us.

My sincerest condolences to Janice's family. I had the pleasure of working with Janice for almost 20 years serving Indian country with workforce support. She was passionate and caring about her community and was an outspoken advocate for Indian people. She will be greatly missed by me and the Indian community.

Janice and I served on the National Indian and Native American Employment and Training Advisory Council together. She was a wonderful woman; warm, kind, funny, dedicated. She will be missed by many. I will always cherish her friendship.

Condolences from the Muhheakannuck Nations at Nu Schodack. We are primarily from the Tunxis branch of the Muhheakkanuck, originally founded in what is now Farmington CT. We are sad that a relative has left but glad to know we have more than we were aware of having. Prayers rising.

Janice was a dear person and a hard-working, passionate advocate for Native People. I recall Janice's eloquent speech in front of the MCAD Commission when we were fighting for a commitment from the Commonwealth for the NAICOB building - a fight that we eventually won. She was our Urban Clan Mother and beautiful leader. Her strength and dedication remain an inspiration to us all. We miss her. She touched the lives of so many people young and old alike. A go getter who didn't stop just because the clock hit 5. The knowledge she shared will live on and her kindness will always be remembered. Prayers are said to help you through this time of loss.
