Joe & Robin JaniakDear Edie and family, We cannot imagine the pain that you must be enduring. Such a shock. We regret that we didn't get to know Phil better. I spoke with him at the Christmas Party and he was telling me about your Christmas Eve and Day family getting together. He expressed it with such love and pride. We will be around when you get back to Hingham Commons and will assist you any way we can. With deep sympathy and sadness, Anne & Gary

Pearl PattersonI can't believe Phil is gone. My family was so lucky to meet him and Edie on a cruise in Europe in 2004. Since then, every year they came to Florida, we would get together. I will always remember his smile, his laugh and his kind heart. I will miss him terribly. Ann Malloch
Ann MallochSo very sorry to read about this loss to the Hingham community. Though I haven't seen Phil in many years, seeing his smile here brings me back to my childhood in our neighborhood and countless carpool rides to school. Love to Edie, David and Jimmy. Maria Giarrusso Metters

Regina StillingsMy thoughts and prayers are with Edie and the entire Scott family. I worked at Loring Hall when I was in High School back in the 70's; Phil and Edie were two of the kindest, most gracious, and supportive individuals I had ever met. Everyone should have been as fortunate as I was to have Phil and Edie as their "first" boss.
Cynthia PattersonEdie, I am so sorry for your loss. RIP Phil.
Helen ( Kolb ) ForrestI was a 13 year old kid when I started mowing his lawn on Elaine Road , he married Edie and they both treated me wonderfully. Next came snowblowing the Neighborhood financed by Phil and then when I was a sophomore in High School he took me to Wollaston Theater with Edie to show me how a Movie theater operated. It turned into a job I held for all my High School years. Phil taught me a lot about business and I think I was the only kid of 17 who could run a movie theater . He showed me kindness , trust , and respect that I have never forgotton all these years. Edie I am so sorry for you and your family , Prayers for you all. Kent
