My thoughts and prayers are with Jean's large loving family. I will never forget her kindness to not only me but to the other kids in the neighborhood. Even with eight of her own children, she always had time for their friends. She always made me feel welcome in her home and on family outings. She was a great listener and remembered every detail of the lives of her friends and acquaintances. She had a genuine interest in people and had many friends. Jean was a survivor also. She had many serious health scares over the years and survived them. She also had significant losses as well, including her husband and her son. She survived through her strength and through her love of her family. You all were devoted to her and she knew it. Jean will be missed tremendously!
