So sad to hear that we've lost one of the greats. A true gentle man and family man. What a proud legacy he leaves behind in the family that he and Maureen raised together. Nice job Moj! I was a childhood friend of Rosemarie and Johnny was always very kind to me. I enjoyed many a pizza from Tony's on a Friday night. I've always remembered his wonderful parents Tony and Rose and the whole Pardo family with fond memories. I lost my only son in December so I know there are no words to comfort but I am truly sorry for your loss. I know he will be missed by his family. God Bless. So sorry to learn of John's death. We were very fortunate to meet great boyfriends/husbands early in our lives and to each be married to them for over five decades. Every time our family talks aboout big storms, the story always came up about when we were seniors and got stranded at Carney. My mother pulled her nurse supervisor strings and Dave got a bed in the hospital. Johnny however had to walk to the police station for shelter in that awful storm. We haven't stayed in touch but I think of you often and treasure those Laboure days and the lifelong friends we made. My condolences to you and your family.
