After reading Cheryl’s obituary, I am proud of having grown up with her, though not at all surprised at her many accomplishments. The younger sister of one of my oldest friends, Cheryl was always ready with a wise crack, even as a little kid. Though I haven’t seen her for many years, It saddens me to know that the world is without this sassy, bright light of my neighborhood.
