I have great memories from high school and also when a group of us all worked at the Sheraton together. Dave had a big presence and an even bigger heart. I am very sorry to have learned of Dave’s passing. I am truly saddened by this. He was definitely a great person. Although I haven’t seen him in many years, I remember him as always being kind, fun, respectful and nice. I love the story that my husband told me of him from when he met him before 8th grade when Dave motivated and supported him when he was trying out for football. Always a good guy from early on. I am so sorry to hear about Dave. We went to Archies and even the Jr. Prom together. It's been 30 plus years, but he was such a kind person with a huge heart. Everyone liked him. I remember he told me one night he wanted to learn the words to "Walk This Way" by Aerosmith. Sure enough the next day he sang the entire song word for word. I couldn't believe it. I have thought of him EVERY single time I have heard the song since. I sure he will be missed terribly.
