I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing! She was a fantastic woman and a wonderful friend to my parents! Alice and I were good friends for the last ten years, and she enriched my life greatly. I was always astonished by her quick mind, her ability to analyze fiction, and her determination. How we used to laugh together over the phone! Her voice and her laughter ring in my ears even now and will never really leave me. She was truly one-in-million. To have lost such a friend is a great sorrow to me. My deepest condolences to Alice's family and friends.
