William “Bill” Donnelly, 87, passed peacefully at Milton Hospital on Feb. 25, 2015 in Milton, MA.
Bill was born on August 29, 1927 in Jamaica Plain, MA to parents Thomas Donnelly and Mary (Kaes) Donnelly. He was a Navy veteran who served during WWII on the USS Medway. Bill married Mary McNamee in 1953, and they raised their family in the Squantum area of Quincy, MA before enjoying many happy years of retirement in East Falmouth, MA.
Bill is survived by his brother, Thomas, and his sons, Mark, Charles, Paul, Steven, and William. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Rodrigo, Jennifer, Michelle, Kenneth, Lillian, Charles, and Leah, and his great-grandchildren, Maia, Nathan, Arabella Kate, and Rodel. Bill is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary, his siblings, Charles, Madeline, Grace, Henry, and Claire, and tragically, his son, Richard.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-5:30 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Sunday at 5:30 PM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.
