William A. “Bill” Faucher

Faucher, William A. “Bill” of Whitman, formerly of Weymouth, died May 15, 2016. Bill grew up in Lawrence and lived in Weymouth for many years before retiring to Whitman. Known to most as a joker, Bill loved to make people laugh. Some of Bill’s hobbies included motorcycles, cars and his gun collection. Family was the cornerstone of Bill’s life and he also loved his dog Teddy. Beloved husband of Eleanor (Trottier) Faucher of Whitman. Son of the late Albert and Helen Faucher. Cherished father of Eleanor “Buttons” Coburn, Dawn Doty, Billy Faucher, Corine Jewett and her companion Ronald Manson and Johnny Faucher. Brother of Albert Faucher, Eileen Higginbottom, James Faucher, John Faucher and the late Elizabeth Maille. Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM in the funeral home followed by a burial in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington.
