Mr.  Willard J., “Willdog” Doran, Jr. of Abington, formerly of Dorchester, passed away April 28, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

As a trade school graduate, Will went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. He attended evening classes in Boston  while employed as an appliance repair technician. Will later founded and was the proud owner of Doran-Kelly Appliance Service-a family run business. He loved photography, traveling, Drum Corps, and the arts.

Son of the late Eleanor C. and Willard J. Doran.

Husband of the late Barbara A. Doran and Maryanne Riley Doran.

Father of Pamela Holt and her fiance, Gerald Graham, of Holbrook, Susan McDonough and her husband, Mark, of S. Weymouth, the late Carol Doran, John Doran and his wife, Nancy, of Hanson, Joseph Doran of Brockton, Jason Riley of Avon, and Kristen Chesna and her husband, Eric, of S. Weymouth. Grandfather of Paul Murray, Mark McDonough and his fiance, Rachel Westland, Christopher Holt and his fiance, Emily Held, Kristin Doran and her fiance, Adam Koenke, Megan McDonough, Kerri Holt, Timothy Murray, Jose Santiago, Emily Doran, Daniel Murray, Charlie Chesna, Riley Chesna, and Cali Chesna.Great Grandfather of Ayden Doran and Charlotte McDonough.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday from 2-5 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Funeral services will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
