Wendy E. Wilkinson Cannon

Wilkinson Cannon, Wendy E. of Quincy, formerly Weymouth, passed away June 15, 2018 after a long, courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family.

Wendy adored her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved to travel to NY, Aruba, her time share in Cold Springs, NH, to her sister’s house in Lovell, ME, and her parent’s in Englewood, FL. She also loved trivia and would play every Wednesday at Four Square in Weymouth Landing and going to Lynwood for Friday night pizza. She worked as an EMT paramedic and office manager for First Response. Wendy was very adventurous, fun loving, and always smiling. She was a generous, caring, kind, and effervescent woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of Glenn Cannon of Quincy. Devoted daughter of F. Walden and Marjorie (Chick) Wilkinson of Weymouth and Englewood, FL. Cherished sister of Joanne Wilkinson of Milton, Cindy Morrison and her husband Jim of Weymouth, and Doug Wilkinson and and his wife Terri of Abington. Loving sister in law of Ethel Napier, Gail Cannon, Lee Cannon and his wife Ann, and Arthur Cannon Jr. and his wife Gayle. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews, one great niece and nephew, her very dear friend Meredith Pitzi, and many other close friends. Predeceased by her niece Kristin Wilkinson Roberts.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM in Christ Church, Quincy. Cremation will follow.
