Acciavatti, Valerie J. (Fontaine) of Milton, passed away peacefully at home, July 30, 2015.

Loving wife of Thomas M.Acciavatti of Milton.  Loving mother of Thomas E. Acciavatti and his wife Shannon of Weymouth, Andrea A. Acciavatti of Weymouth and the late Gregg T. Acciavatti. Cherished  “Nana” of Jeffrey, Jamie and Maximus.  Loving Daughter-in-law of Alberina Acciavatti of Weymouth.  Dear sister of Eugene, Alan, Beverly, Virginia, Linda and Ronald.

Valerie worked at Quincy City Hospital as a pediatric nurse.  She continued as a pediatric nurse for many years with Dr. Hockman.  After retiring from nursing, Valerie was the Vice President and Treasurer of the Parkway Manufacturing Company.  She enjoyed needlepointing, scrap-booking, gaming and spending time with her family and friends. She was also very active and dedicated to www.angels.com, a support group that assists parents who have lost a son or a daughter. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).  A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Weymouth. A burial will follow in Milton Cemetery, Milton.
