Thomas C. Spirito

Spirito, Thomas (Tommy) of Hingham passed away on Tuesday, July 28th.

Tommy was born in Providence, RI and is the son of the late Onesta (DeLuca) and Camillo Spirito. He is the beloved brother of Frances (Spirito) Cardillo and her late husband Joseph of Johnston, RI, the late Mary (Spirito) Deanseris and her late husband Louis of Cranston, RI, the late Andrew Spirito and his late wife Dorothy of Hingham, MA, the late Angelo Spirito and his wife Lillian of Hingham, MA, the late Camillo (Sweeney) Spirito and his wife Alice of Hingham, MA, the late George Spirito and his wife Geraldine, of Providence, RI.  Beloved uncle of Norma (Cardillo) Nelson of Providence, RI, Joseph Cardillo and his wife Jackie of Wakefield, RI, Ann (Cardillo) Martin of North Providence, RI, Louis Deanseris and his wife Jessica of Narragansett, RI, Robert (Bobby) Spirito and his wife Janet of Hingham, MA, the late Michael Spirito of Cohasset, MA, Yvette (Spirito) Kanter and her husband Jon of Hingham, MA, Justin Spirito of Hingham, MA, Jared Spirito and his wife Amy of Weymouth, MA,  Mari Spirito of Istanbul, Turkey, C.J. Spirito and his wife Kathy Butts of Burlington, VT,  Cathy (Spirito) Newcomb and her husband Thom of Barrington, NH, Alice Spirito and her husband Keith Porter of Montpelier, VT, Bill Spirito and his wife Lorena Calderon of Quincy, MA. Tommy is also survived by 21 great nieces and nephews and 9 great great nieces and nephews. 

Tommy was involved with the Sons of Italy in Hingham and was a long standing parishioner of St. Paul’s Parish in Hingham.  His greatest pleasures were riding his bike around Hingham, visiting friends who were so gracious to him and his woodworking shop. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday, August 3rd from 4-8pm at Pyne Keohane Funeral Home at 21 Emerald Street in Hingham.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:15am prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, 147 North St. Hingham on Tuesday, August 4th at 10am. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
