Sartorio, Theresa A. (Lanata) “Terry” of Quincy, died December 28, 2018.

Terry adored her family and was like a mother to her nieces and nephews. She always attended all of their events. She was an avid painter, loved to travel and go to the beach. She was involved with St. John’s community and their outings every month and took a weekly art class with the Council in Aging at the Norwell Library. Terry worked as a secretary at Boston Redevelopment Authority for over 30 years before retiring. She was a humble, kind, loving woman who was witty, classy, and always fair. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Loving daughter of the late John and Clara Lanata. Beloved wife of the late Leo Sartorio. Loving sister of the late Joseph Lanata and spouses Amelia Lanata and Rita McKenzie, Manuel Lanata and his surviving wife Irene, Anne Choate, Marie Choate spouse Paul. Cherished aunt of Michele Greeley and her husband Paul, Arthur Choate and his wife Carolyn, Paula Schifone and her husband Rick, Janice Rudin and her husband Steven, John Choate and his wife Judé, John Lanata and his wife Nancy, Mark Bisgrove and his late wife Carole, Anne Marie Quillin and her husband Bruce, David Lanata and his wife Marie, Marilyn Zurwaski and her husband Ken, and the late Frederick and Richard Lanata. Also survived by many great and great great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Terry may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
