Teresa F. Mazzulli

Teresa F. Mazzulli, age 92 of Boston, formerly of Dorchester and South Boston passed away on December 14, 2018.

Terri was born in South Boston to the late Luigi and Mary (Diorio) Mazzulli. Sister of Carmine and Nancy (Tarzia) Mazzulli of Hingham, Louise(Mazzulli) and, the late, Donald Flebotte of Gulfport, FL, and Frank and Patricia (Filiaci) Mazzulli of Wollaston. She was aunt to several nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces and survived by many loving cousins and friends.

Terri was an intelligent and well-travelled woman. She always had a fascinating story to tell about her exploits through the years which will be missed by many.

She was passionate about many projects throughout her life and especially interested in gardening, history, the arts, and her Italian heritage. Perhaps her greatest joy came from her many skilled needle works and extraordinary quilting projects. Terri especially enjoyed her time with her friends in the quilting world. Terri was a Doric Docent and was recognized on several occasions for her volunteerism and philanthropy. She was awarded the I Migliori Award, “The Best in Thought and Actions.” from the Pirandello Lyceum and was a friend to many organizations including the Boston Athenaeum, Sons of Italy, a member of the New England Genealogical Society, and many others.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock St, Quincy, MA at 10 am. followed by a graveside service at St. Michael’s Cemetery, 500 Canterbury St. Boston, MA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241 in remembrance of Terri.
