Stephen M. Walsh of Chicopee, formerly of Quincy, died on August 31, 2023. Son of the late Richard V. and Norma J. Walsh. Former husband of Mary Ann Ferullo of Quincy. Father of Christine Emma Walsh and Nicole Marie Walsh both of Quincy. Grandfather of Luna Rose. Brother of the late Susan Sorbitz. Dear Cousin of Roberta Lori, Nancy Forget and Debbie Hurd.
Stephen grew up in Quincy, he graduated from North Quincy High School Class of 1974. After his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army. He proudly served his country and after being honorably discharged, he married MaryAnn Ferullo and together they raised their family in Quincy. Stephen took a position with the United States Post Office, where he worked for more than 25 years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking long rides. He also enjoyed music especially Rock and Roll. He enjoyed playing both the piano as well as the organ. Stephen loved his daughters more than anything.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to join the family for a graveside service on Friday, September 29th at 2:30pm at Massachusetts National Cemetery. Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Stephen may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701.
