Sixto “Red” Jusino

Jusino, Sixto E. “Red” of Quincy, died December 1, 2018.

Red proudly worked for the Boston Fire Department, Ladder 7 on Meeting House Hill, for over 20 years before retiring. At one time, it was the busiest fire house in the country while he was there. After retirement, he worked as an EMT for Eascare. He enjoyed spending time with his family, loved music, especially the Beatles, playing the guitar, and collecting steins and clocks. Red was a friend to all and an independent, strong, and hard working man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Beloved husband of Patricia Jusino of Quincy. Loving father of Jessica Jusino of Quincy. Devoted son of the late Gladys Jusino. Cherished brother of Dwayne Jusino and his wife Terri of San Francisco and the late George Jusino. Dear cousin of Jacqueline Ramos of Texas. Also survived by his dog Sadie and his daughter’s dog Lilly, who he loved.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 5-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Cremation will follow.
