Severino Sceppa – Mass moved to 9AM instead of 1030AM due to weather!

Severino Sceppa of Weymouth, died February 4, 2017 at the age of 88.

Severino moved to the U.S. in 1966 from Italy and worked as a welder for New England Steel Tank Company for many years. He enjoyed caring for his home, gardening, and spending time with family.

He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Antonia (Palmiero) Sceppa. Loving father of Nicoletta  Griffin and husband Timothy of Hanover and Patrizia Sceppa and husband Jonathan Maxwell of FL. Cherished “Gramps” of T.J., Matthew, and Steven Griffin. Brother of Giovanni Sceppa, Gina Gioncardi, both of Quincy, Carmelina Mancina of Rockland, Anna Palmiero of Quincy, Vincenzo Sceppa of Weymouth, and the late Pepino Sceppa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 9:00 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
