Mullaney, Ruth R. (Donnelly) of Quincy, formerly Jersey City, died suddenly after a long, happy life on August 21, 2016. She was surrounded by friends and family.

She was a telephone company operator. She also worked at O’Brien’s Bakery in Wollaston for many years. She was the former president of the N.Q.C.W.C. and member of Sacred Heart Parish in North Quincy. 

Wife of the late John A. Mullaney. Mother of Kathleen M. DeCristofaro of Derry, NH and the late Kevin Mullaney. Mother in law of Rose Mullaney of Quincy. Sister of Alice Homler of NJ, Helen Larson and her late husband Melvin of NJ, and the late Edward, Kathleen, and Robert. Grandma of James and Camille Mullaney of Quincy, April Henderson of New Market, NH, Marc and Gia DeCristofaro of Derry, NH, and the late Kelly Mullaney. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
