Rosemary Lewis

Rosemary Lewis, of Milton, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was 89.

Rosemary was born in Boston on September 24, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Duffly) Lewis. She was raised in Dorchester, attended local schools, and graduated from Hyde Park High School.

Rosemary was the devoted sister of the late Edith Lewis, the late John Lewis, the late Helen DesRoches, the late William Lewis, the late Ruth Peshin, the late Marie Lewis, the late Paul Lewis, and the late Marjorie Lewis. She was the loving aunt of 17 nieces and nephews, nine grand nieces and nephews and seven great grand nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday, February 15, 2024, 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Friday, February 16, 2024, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Agatha’s Church, Milton at 10:30 AM.

Services will conclude with interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Rosemary’s name to South Cove Manor at Quincy Point Rehabilitation Center, 288 Washington St., Quincy, MA 02169.
