Ronald J. Healy, of Rockland, died January 26, 2018.

Ron lived in South Boston, Wakefield and Weymouth before settling down in Rockland. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force before serving the community as a Boston Police Officer for many years. After retirement Ron worked with the security department at both the Boston Wang Center and Winchester Hospital. Ron was a member of the Weymouth Elks and Reading Knights of Columbus. He also enjoyed cooking, music and was an avid New England Patriots fan. He will be remembered for his lively and infectious nature.   

Beloved husband of Elizabeth Davis-Healy of Rockland and the late Peggy Wilson. Devoted father of Kelee Poirier and her husband Tom of Hanson, Ronald J. Healy, Jr. and his wife Stacey of Rockland, Paul Healy of Weymouth and Dawn Healy of Weymouth. Cherished Grampa of Ashlee, Tommy, Tyler and Cameron. Loving brother of Maurice Healy of Cape Cod and the late Kenneth and Robert Healy. Best friend of Paul Carey of Whitman. Also lovingly survived by his Morkie Harry.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 10 AM.

Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Weymouth.
