Ronald Charles Pellegrini, Sr.

Pellegrini, Ronald Charles, Sr., 70, went to be with our Lord Thursday, August 24, 2017 in Aurora, TX.

Ron was born on June 15, 1947 to Faust and Gladys (Brown) Pellegrini in Quincy, Massachusetts. He was united in marriage to Judith Kent on August 6, 1966 in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Ron served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from the United States Government as Special Agent in Charge. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid senior softball player and avid fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots. Ron, a proud “Papa” loved his family time especially watching his grandchildren play baseball, volleyball, soccer, and dance.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Judith Pellegrini of Aurora, TX; his son, Ron Pellegrini Jr. and wife Tammy of Aurora; his grandchildren, Lindsay Pellegrini, Delaney Pellegrini, Victoria Pellegrini, Spencer Pellegrini of Aurora; his son, Bryan Pellegrini and wife Mariane of Clinton, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Kayla Pellegrini, Rachael Pellegrini, Robert Pellegrini of Clinton, Connecticut; late siblings Robert “Bobby” Pellegrini and Marie MacFee; many loving nieces and nephews of Massachusetts; his softball families in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Hawaii, Texas; and a host of friends.

As a way of honoring Ron’s love of sports, his family requests that you attend his services dressed to represent your favorite sports team. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday 2-3 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 3 PM. Burial in Plain Street Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ron may be made to either Brain Cancer Awareness or Make – A- Wish Foundation.
