Ronald A. Fletcher

FLETCHER, Ronald A. of Quincy, passed away peacefully at home, Friday morning, November 23, 2018, he was 77.

Born in Watertown, he was a son of the late Guy Nathan and Marie (Steidle) Fletcher.  Ronald was a 1960 graduate of North Quincy High School, and went on to earn his Associate’s Degree from Northeastern University.  He served with the United States Marine Corps from 1964 – 1970.  Ronald was an X-ray Technologist at Carney Hospital in Dorchester for 24 years, and later spent 23 years as an MRI technologist with Shields Health Care Group.  He sang in the Saint Agatha Church Choir, after years as a member of the Canton Barbershop Quartet.  The greatest joys in his life came from time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.  

He was the beloved husband of Rose M. Fletcher of Quincy; devoted father of Ron Fletcher and his wife Frances Graham of Milton, and Kara Larson and her husband Adam of Hingham; loving grandfather of Claudia and Calvin Larson, and Dean Fletcher; brother of Guy “Skip” Fletcher of Carver; and fun-loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Family and friends will gather in the funeral home beginning at 9:30 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Agatha’s Church, Milton at 10:30 AM. Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton.
