Roberta M. Colman, of Braintree and Edgartown died peacefully on June 21, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was 66.

Roberta Attended Woodward School for Girls. She also attended Endicott College and went on to receive a degree from College of White Plains, (Pace University). Roberta started her career working in a local bank, moving on to Randolph Credit Union and finally becoming a benefit specialist at John Hancock Insurance Company. Roberta had many interests, but especially enjoyed cruising with her adopted New Jersey family, The Talty’s.

Roberta was the daughter of the late Robert J. Colman and Mary (Donovan) Colman. Predeceased by her beloved brother Robert J. Colman, Jr. She is also survived by her sister Sandra Colman Lerner and her niece Samantha Colman Lerner of Quincy. Roberta is also survived by three godchildren, Dawn Marie Facella, Steven D. Talty, and Mark C. Iannuccillo. She is also survived by many loving cousins in particular The Roy Colman Family, her beloved cousin Pat Greene and Pat’s brothers Jack and Tom Collins. Roberta is also survived by her nineteen Donovan cousins and two aunts, Patricia Lyons Barry of Needham, and Celeste M. Colman of Weymouth. Roberta is also survived by many loving and supportive friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 10 AM.

Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
