Robert M. Buccheri

Buccheri, Robert M. “Uncle Bobby” of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died July 23, 2018.

Robert enjoyed life, time with family, and cooking for holiday gatherings.  He took care of his parents into their senior years and loved his family.  He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus in both Dorchester and Quincy.  Bobby will be remembered as a pleasant and jovial person who loved to laugh.  He worked for the MA State Police Criminal History Division for over 31 years.  Bobby served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 to 1962.  He also worked alongside his brothers in their family business for 20 years.

Beloved son of the late Joseph and Mary (Miraglia) Buccheri.  Loving brother of Salvatore Buccheri and his wife Rita of Methuen, Richard Buccheri and his wife Carol of Duxbury, John Buccheri and his wife Cheryl of Brockton, and the late Anthony Buccheri and his wife Alfreda, and George Buccheri.  Also survived by his sister in law Eileen Buccheri and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
