Robert James “Fish” Gaura, born 1/19/1940 and died 7/10/18

Bobby Gaura died peacefully surrounded by his beloved wife Rosemary of 56 years and his daughters. Loving father of Robyn Gaura-Stratton and her husband Brian of Rockland, Rosemarie Grady and her husband Mark of Hull, Rachelle Gaura of Billerica, Renee Vangestel and William of Quincy, Randi Bertoni and her husband Jonathan of Quincy and Rhonda Gaura and Gregory Reynolds of Quincy. Proud grandfather of Jessica, Mark and Amanda Grady, Samantha, Shaylen and Liam Vangestel.

He was a school teacher in the Boston Public schools for 35 years spending his summers as a Lobsterman and clam digger. Member of the Quincy Yacht Club and Quincy Elks.  He loved the ocean, playing keno and golfing with Barney.  He treasured his Gaura girls, his grandchildren and especially his wife. He will truly be missed by all but never forgotten.

Family and friends are welcome to join in a Celebration of Life at the Tirrell Room in Quincy on Friday July 20, 2018 12-4pm.
