Hunt, Robert E. of Holbrook, passed away on June 7, 2018.

Until his retirement, Bob worked for many years at the Boston Gas Company on the street department and as a Drafting Engineer. He loved the ocean, taking long walks, cookouts, woodworking, and was also a call Fireman for the Town of Holbrook. He also proudly served his country during the Korean War with the United States Marines. He will be dearly missed by all those that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Goodhue). Loving father of Deborah J. Chin and her husband, Scot, of Framingham, Janet Stone and her husband, Ronald, of Holbrook, Douglas F. Hunt and his wife, Karen, of Spokane, WA and the late Robert Hunt, Jr. Brother of Joan Wilson of Milford, CT, and the late Irving Hunt, Richard Hunt, Lois Worcester, and Barbara Thompson. Grandfather of Nicole, Amy, Jimmy, Brett, and Brian. Great Grandfather of Connor and Alexandra Kathleen.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday, June 22nd, from  4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday, June 23rd, at 11 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial at a later date.
