Robert D. Dilks “Bobby”

Robert D. Dilks “Bobby” of Quincy, passed away peacefully on his 37th birthday at the Massachusetts General Hospital, surrounded by his family and close friends on Sunday March 10, 2019.

Born in Quincy, he was the beloved son of Harold Dilks and Mary Ann (Norton) of Quincy.  Bobby was a graduate of Quincy High School, class of 2000, and was a self employed carpet installer.  He enjoyed traveling, and camping at Keoka Beach Campground in Maine.  Bobby was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, DC comics, and Marvel Comics, especially Superman.  He was very artistic, and enjoyed drawing and photography.   

In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by his loving sister Rebecca Dilks of Quincy, and niece Kalie Dilks also of Quincy.  He was the brother of the late Justin Dilks who passed away in 2010.  Bobby leaves behind many other relatives and close friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday March 19 from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  Interment will be private.  A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at a later date.
