Roman, Rhoda (Levy) of Quincy, 94, formerly of Long Island, NY died April 21, 2017.
 
Rhoda loved her family. She had a passion for animals and politics. She enjoyed living by the ocean and grocery shopping. During WWII, Rhoda worked at Grummond Aircraft factory, when she met her husband Anthony, stationed in the Navy. After marrying, moving to Massachusetts and raising her family she worked in health care for many years. She was a caring and enlightened woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.   
  
Beloved wife of the late Anthony Roman. Loving mother of Constance Roman of Quincy, Daniel and Mary Roman of Florida, Steven and Deborah (Vose) Roman of Hingham, Victoria Roman of Quincy. Cherished sister of Joan Hindmarsh of Halifax and the late Norman Levy. Loving grandma to Jonathen Roman of Virginia, Cheriece Barry of Florida, Amber Jolly of Virginia, Marcus Roman of Florida, Molly Roman of Chicopee, and Woodrow Roman of Hingham. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 4 cats.
 

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the MA National Cemetery, Bourne. In memory of Rhoda, please make a donation to your local animal shelter.
