Cruz, Raymond of Weymouth, died August 12, 2018 after a battle with cancer. 

Raymond proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 8.5 years. He worked for Uncommon Schools in Boston for over 18 years, ending as a Regional Facilities Manager. In his early years he played football and remained an avid fan throughout his life. Raymond was fiercely devoted to his family and will be sadly missed.  

Beloved husband of Lillian (Siena) Cruz of Weymouth. Devoted father of Stephanie Cruz and Joseph Cruz and his wife Sabrina Ivil-Cruz, all of Weymouth. Cherished Papa of Hunter Lee Ivil-Cruz. Son of the late Andrea Cruz. Loving brother of Maria Ortiz, Ralphael Ortiz, Madeline Rumelle, Carlos Ortiz, Danny Melendez, and the late Marcos Ortiz, all of CT. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
