Ralph J. Pina

Ralph J. Pina of Quincy, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, February 9, 2019 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth following a brief illness, he was 81.

Born in Scituate, MA he was one of fifteen children of the late Antonio Vincente and Laura (Rose) Pina.  Ralph was a Construction Foreman for the B.H. Macomber Company, and a member of Laborers Local 22 in Boston.  He enjoyed playing bingo with his late wife, Susan.  In more recent years, Ralph enjoyed relaxing in his recliner, and catching up on some of his old favorite television programs, such as Little House on the Prairie, Golden Girls, Bonanza, and Andy Griffith.   

Ralph was the beloved husband of 40 years of the late Susan J. (Leverone) Pina; devoted father of Lisa McDonough, Judy Lopez, William Brown, Ralph Beach, Richard Pina, Anthony Pina, Joyce Pina, Derek Pina, Deserie Davenport, Vincent Pina, and the late Ralph Pina Jr.; loving grandfather of Melissa Wilson, Kayla Brown, Shayne Lopez, Alexandria McDonough, Zackery Tessier, Andrew Tessier, Devin Lopez, Joshua Brown, Sarah Brown, Tameka Pina, Cami Pina, Madi Pina, Emersyn Sauce, and many additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  Family and friends will gather once more in the funeral home beginning at 9:30 AM on Friday prior to the graveside service at 10:30 at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester Center.
