Pranati Dilip Kapadia, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on July 11, 2019.  She was 57 years of age.

A member of the 1983 Batch at IIT Bombay, she is survived by her loving husband, Fred Dellorfano of Hull, Massachusetts, her parents Dilip and Manju Kapadia of Mumbai, India, her brother Nand Kapadia and his wife, Kanan of Muscat, Oman, and 3 nieces.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM on August 24, 2019 at Glastonbury Abbey in Hingham, Massachusetts and a memorial gathering of family and friends at her parents’ home in Mumbai in October 2019.

She will be remembered for her academic achievements at IIT Bombay, University of Wisconsin at Madison, Stanford University School of Business, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  She will also be remembered for her service while employed as a Technical Marketing Engineer for Hewlett Packard as the Chairperson of the 80-person committee established to develop the complex Network Management standard for management Information during the inception of the internet.  She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and former colleagues.
