Peter Bernard (Gates) Manzo, of Stoughton, MA, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.
He was born on May 22, 1969, in Brookline, Massachusetts. Graduated from Stoughton High Class of 1987. Also, with an Associate of Science in Munitions Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelor of Business from University of New England.
A proud Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force from 1997 through 2001, IYAAYAS! He was a funny, loving, creative, and passionate man. His interests included drums, singing, art, and reading. Although disengaged at times, he truly loved his family and friends. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
He was survived by his parents, Peter A Manzo, Barbara Penelope Hugo, and Richard T Gates; children, Peter D Manzo, David Manzo, and Madison Manzo; siblings, Patricia White and Paul Gates; former spouse, Leslie Desmond. He was also a beloved uncle to Michael Macchioni, Kaitlyn Lamoreaux, John Gates, and Anthony DeMarco.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to take part in the service on Sunday, November 13th at 3:00pm in the Trinity Episcopal Church of Stoughton at 414 Sumner Street, Stoughton, MA 02072. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, November 18th at 10:15am in the Massachusetts National Cemetery on Connery Ave, Buzzards Bay, MA 02542. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peter may be made to Semper Fi & America’s Fund.
