Pauline Rubino

Rubino, Pauline (VanHooser) of Quincy, died November 10, 2017 at the age of 90.

Pauline was a longtime resident of Quincy. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, sewing and gardening in her free time. She was also an avid reader. Pauline loved music, particularly Barbra Streisand, Elvis Presley and Neil Diamond. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Pauline also loved her cats. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Beloved wife of the late Charles Rubino, Jr. Daughter of the late James and Edith (Rogers) VanHooser. Loving mother of Charles Rubino and his wife Sheila of Hanson and Tony Rubino and his wife Valerie of Quincy. Dear sister to the late Claudine Miller. Cherished Nana to Chris and his wife Deanne, Nicholas and his wife Sandy, and Josh and his wife Angie, Rubino. Caring Great-Nana to Lucia, Violet and Vincent Rubino and Lake Weismayr. Also survived by cousins, extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 9-11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Boston.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pauline may be made to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
