Pauline M. Holland

Holland, Pauline M. (Murphy) of Quincy, died February 20, 2017.  

Pauline adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed taking them out to eat and trips to the beach. She also loved to travel all over, including Marco Island, and to read. Pauline was a very hard worker. She worked for over 25 years in human resources for the state government. She was a quiet, loving, and kind woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Beloved husband of the late Paul Holland. Cherished mother of Paul Holland of Quincy, Sheila Holland of Quincy, and Diane Dockray and her husband Stephen of Canton. Sister of the late John and Charles Murphy and Alice McDonough. Devoted Nana of Paul Jr., Elizabeth, Joseph, Jacqueline, and Victoria Holland and Alexandra, Cassandra, Stephen, and Patrick Dockray. Loving great Nana of Katie, James, Joey, Wes, and Will. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 5-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Gerard Majella Church, Canton, at 10 AM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pauline may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 30 Reservoir Park Dr., Rockland, MA 02370.
