Paul E. Trubiano

Trubiano, Paul E. of Marshfield Hills, suffered a heart attack and passed away on December 2, 2022, age 77, at South Shore Hospital with his loving son Adam by his side.  He was born in Quincy.

Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife Kathy Trubiano, mother Doris (Reynolds) Trubiano, father Arthur Trubiano and sister Lois Forbes.

Paul was a devoted and loving husband to Kathy and father to Adam.  Nothing gave him more joy than these two people.

Paul was a faithful and hardworking employee of McCourt Construction Company for 35 years where he was a Master Mechanic and responsible for the purchasing, maintaining and oversight of all construction equipment as well as the operators.  This included during the Big Dig when he worked with Anver, a Canadian company to design a ceiling panel lifter large enough to install the cement ceiling panels in the tunnel. Paul was known as an innovative fabricator.  He could fix and/or improve any piece of equipment to make it perform better.  He loved working at McCourt and the company would not be the same without him and his talent.  He was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUEO), Local 4, Boston.

Paul was an avid sports fan and car collector.  He owned several show cars, won many awards and loved working on them with his son Adam.  He also enjoyed motorcycle riding and especially his boat and time on the water.

Paul had many, many close friends but one in particular, Dick Nicholson, whom he enjoyed a 50+ year friendship with.  It included, but not limited to, eating tripe, fishing trips and daily telephone calls.  He was instrumental in gathering people together and keeping in touch.  He was known for his generosity, loyalty and sense of humor.

Paul is survived by his son Adam, sister Lynda and her husband Ronnie Gaulin, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 10:00-11:15AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A graveside service will be celebrated on Saturday at 12 PM at Couch Memorial Cemetery, Marshfield.
