Powers, Norinne M. of Quincy, died January 25, 2018.
Norinne was born in Boston to the late William and Honora. She grew up in West Roxbury and graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1941. Norinne was a Sister of Notre Dame and a dedicated algebra teacher for many years. She also worked for the Bedford VA as a respiratory therapist, until retiring in 1994. Norinne loved to travel and was a proud Catholic daughter.
Norinne is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly. She is predeceased by her brothers William B. Powers and Richard J. Powers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM on Monday. A burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lawrence.
