Mercadante, Michael J. of Wollaston, died September 23, 2017.

Loving father of Ariane Ritz and her husband Chris of Stoughton.  Cherished grandfather of Christiana and Liam Ritz of Stoughton.  Devoted son of Rose (D’Elia) Mercandante of Wollaston and the late John J. Mercadante. Brother of  Linda Vopat and her husband Neil of Plympton. Uncle of Samantha and her husband Richard Vicino of Plymouth. Dear cousin of Christine Walsh and Geraldine Culver.

Michael was a proud Vietnam War U.S. Army Veteran. A graduate of Mass College of Art – he worked as an industrial and graphic designer with strong illustration capabilities for Gregory Fossella Associates in Boston for many years. He had a passion for sports cars and was a collector of Lionel trains.  He will be remembered as a loving father and a devoted son. Michael will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday  from 10am -12PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12 Noon in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kingston.
