Waters, Michael A. of Avon, formerly of South Boston, died May 25, 2015.

Michael was a lifelong member of Pipefitters Local # 537. He always loved going to the beach and spending time on Cape Cod. Michael just adored his granddaughter Amelia and all the great times he spent with her.

Loving father of Jill M. Collins and her husband, Jason, of Weymouth, and John “Jack” Waters of Avon. Former husband of Eileen (Mulvaney) Waters of Weymouth, and Barbara A. Connolly of Avon. Brother of Martha O’Connor of Needham, John Waters of Freedom, NH,  Judy Fitzpatrick of Northbridge, and the late Nancy LaPlant, James Waters, and Elaine Burke. Proud and loving Papa to Amelia Collins. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral services will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH. Burial will be private.
