Workman, Merle M. of Weymouth, died May 18, 2019 at the age of 95.
Merle worked for the Fiduciary Trust Co. for over 40 years before retiring. She enjoyed extensive traveling, including 45 trips to Bermuda since 1955. She was affectionately known as the “hat lady” because of her love and ownership of many fancy hats. Merle was a skilled seamstress and an avid reader. She will be dearly missed.
Loving sister of the late John, Harold, Charles, Arthur and Frank Workman. Cherished aunt of Maureen A. Clifford of Hanson, Susan Ferry of Westford, Nancy Workman of CO, Karen Workman of CT and the late Sandy Workman. Best friend of Mary Linehan of Hingham.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth on Saturday at 10 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
