Matthew P. Bova, of Randolph, died October 3, 2015.

Matthew grew up in Boston and also lived in Weymouth for many years before moving to Randolph 20 years ago. He retired from LoJack after many years as an accounts receivable specialist. After retiring, Matthew dedicated many years of his time to caring for his parents and other family members. In his spare time he enjoyed summers on Onset Beach, spending time with his grandchildren and watching game shows. He had an appreciation for good food, especially Chinese food and a soft spot for animals. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his calm and honest demeanor.  

Devoted father of Stephen Bova, Michelle Lydon and her husband Thomas and Rene McWalter and her husband Keith, all of Weymouth. Former husband of Diane (Smith) Bova of Weymouth. Papa Matt to Jake, Jenna and Luke Lydon and Kayla, Tyler and Kelsey McWalter. Son of the late Matthew F. Bova and Stella Orsini and her husband Dante. Loving brother of the late Salvatore Bova and Carol Laun. Cherished uncle of Derek Laun, his wife Michele and their children Shayla and Derelle and Mathew Laun and his children Madison and Dominick. Also lovingly survived by many additional nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) 

Funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 1 PM.
