Slattery, Maryellen (Ciardi) of Weymouth, died January 18, 2023.  

Maryellen adored her family, especially her son Sean. She was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed watching all of the games. She loved animals, traveling, particularly cruises to the Caribbean and trips to Las Vegas, and camping. Maryellen worked for the Quincy Housing Authority and was a teachers aid for Quincy Public Schools. She was a loving and caring woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Daughter of the late Edward and Helen Ciardi. Beloved wife of Duane Slattery of Weymouth. Cherished mother of Sean Slattery of Weymouth. Loving sister of Donna Ames and her husband Roger of Quincy and the late Denise Watson and her surviving husband Michael and the late Maureen Bilbrey and her surviving husband Keith. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and beloved cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A funeral home service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Maryellen may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley Street, W. Bridgewater, MA 02379-1022.
