Mary V. “Ginnie” Bimmler

Mary Virginia “Ginnie” (Harrington)  Bimmler,  a longtime Squantum and South Yarmouth resident, most recently at Atria, Marina Bay, died peacefully on February 22, 2017.The beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Bimmler. Loving mother of  Paul J. Bimmler of Squantum and his late wife Mariellen, Mary Yacobian and her husband Ara of Framingham, Joanne Dalabon and her husband, Thomas  of Sharon, and Virginia Paluzzi of Braintree. Sister of the late Grace Mahoney.  Cherished grandmother of Alyson Yacobian, Jacqueline and Joseph Dalabon, Kristen Bimmler and Jason Paluzzi.  

Ginnie found great pleasure and enjoyed a complete life of activities and commitments surrounding the schools, church and local community and a 20 year career with State Street Bank.   The foundation of her life was her family and her faith.  Thoughts of Ginnie will always bring happy memories. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 9 AM.

Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ginnie may be made to New England Homeless Veterans, 17 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108.
