Mary T. Evans

Evans, Mary T. (Manning) of Holbrook, formerly of Weymouth, died November 28, 2018.

Mary worked for the telephone company for 24 years, retiring in 1998. After retirement she kept active with various jobs, including being a crossing guard, administrative assistant and was currently a receptionist for Financial Graphic Services in Braintree. She was a two time Past Exalted Ruler of the Randolph Elks and current District Deputy of the Circle District. Mary was an avid Boston sports fan, was skilled at making blankets, enjoyed playing cards and always looked forward to pizza making on Thursdays with her friends Gail and Tina. She will be deeply missed.  

Beloved wife of Rick Evans of Holbrook. Cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Manning. Loving sister of Joseph Manning of Quincy, Ann Marie “Sue” Sullivan of Plymouth, Martin Manning of ME, Robert Manning of Weymouth, James Manning of West Roxbury, Judith Postell of Whitman, Stephen Manning of Kingston and the late Timothy Manning. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
