Keohane Funeral Home

Mrs. Mary T. (Connolly) Sullivan of Weymouth, formerly of Charlestown, passed very peacefully October 3, 2015. Mary was the beloved wife of the late John E. Sullivan for 68 years, and the loving mother of Robert W. Sullivan and his wife, MaryLou, of Florida, Geri Burns and her husband, Richard, of Weymouth, and the late Ann Marie Sullivan. She was the sister of the late Joseph,  James, and Mark Connolly, and the cousin of Rita Connolly of Charlestown.

 Mary was the loving grandmother of Shannon Sarkarati, Brad and Jonathan Sullivan, and Jeffrey Burns and Timothy Burns. Also survived by ten great grandchildren. Mary and John were daily communicants for many years at St Francs Xavier Church and prior to that at Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth.  Mary was also a member of the Legion of Mary. In addition to being an avid Red Sox fan, Mary was a proud “Townie” and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

 The family would like to thank the staff at Queen Anne Nursing Home for the loving care extended to their mother. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 11 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
